Dean is a partner in our Manchester office. He joined the firm in 1999, having previously spent 10 years in general audit and accountancy practice at Horwath Clark Whitehill and Horsfield and Smith.
Dean, who qualified as an ACCA accountant in 1999, has been involved in a number of cases acting for all the major clearing banks and Asset Based Lenders (ABLs). He has worked on a wide variety of assignments across a broad range of industries, including professional services, gaming (casino operations), manufacturing, distribution, financial services, telecoms and construction. Dean has recently been involved in an Administration of a casino which ended with the successful sale and transfer of the Casino Premises Licence.
He has also been involved in a number of assignments involving legal practices including a pre-packaged sale of the business and assets, the preparation of a report for a bank to understand their position and options available and the formal wind down of two failed legal practices.
Dean has extensive experience of formal insolvency, Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and other advisory matters. He recently completed an 11 month secondment with a major clearing bank assisting with turnaround strategies for their clients in financial difficulties.
