Julie is a Partner in the Advisory team based in our Salisbury and Southampton offices. She is a licensed insolvency practitioner with more than 30 years’ experience dealing with restructuring advisory and business rescue work.
An Oxford law graduate, Julie has risen to the position of regional managing partner thanks to her steely determination, intellectual ability and close relationships with key influencers. She has successfully managed many high-profile insolvency and restructuring cases, including successful sales of Bournemouth Football Club, Bristol Rugby Club, Shakeaway, and Mostyns.
Additionally, Julie sits on the national council of R3 – the UK’s professional association of business recovery professionals, as well as working with a number of its policy groups. She acts as the firm’s principal media spokesperson and features regularly on broadcast and printed media.
Previously, Julie ran her own practice which is now incorporated into the firm. Prior to setting up her own practice, Julie qualified with PWC and later joined Smith & Williamson.
Julie has worked on a number of significant cases, including a recent appointment to oversee a group of car dealerships, which entailed the successful disposal of one site to a national supermarket chain.
