Joining the Glasgow office of Begbies Traynor in 2003, the parent company of RBR Advisory, Ken went on to oversee the expansion of the firm in Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Belfast. Specialising in business recovery and insolvency, Ken has a strong background in the sector having worked at a series of reputable firms.
Having graduated from the University of Dundee, his previous experience includes working at Ernst & Young, Price water house Coopers and global professional services firm, KPMG.
As the managing partner of Begbies Traynor in Scotland, he commonly comments to regional press on the financial health of businesses in Scotland, including financial distress levels as detailed in the quarterly Begbies Traynor Red Flag Alert report.

Ken is highly distinguished in his field and led the Begbies Traynor team on a high profile project for Northern Ireland’s Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) to help tackle unprecedented high level of insolvencies in Northern Ireland.
